Best Peec AI Alternatives in 2026: 11 AI Visibility Tools, Priced Per Tracked Prompt
Turn this article into takeaways for your work.
Each assistant summarizes the article only for you and suggests best practices for your work.
Peec AI publishes its prices: Starter at $95/mo, Pro at $245/mo, Advanced at $495/mo, and a custom-quoted Enterprise tier. If you've read elsewhere, including in an earlier version of this article, that Peec AI hides its pricing, that's out of date.
So secrecy isn't the reason to shop around. Three better reasons are:
- The floor. $95 buys 50 prompts on 3 models. Otterly starts at $29 and Rankscale at $20.
- The ceiling. Every self-serve tier tracks 3 models, and Claude is reserved for Enterprise. No self-serve price lifts that.
- The unit. Peec AI bills by project (1, 2 or 5), not by brand, which matters most to agencies.
The central table below prices every tool per tracked prompt at the same engine coverage, because that's where Otterly's per-engine add-ons and Rankscale's weighted credits finally become comparable.
Key Facts
- AI platforms drove an average of 770.7 million referral visits a month worldwide between June 2025 and May 2026, a 117.4% increase on the year before (Similarweb).
- In an 8,400-prompt first-party study, Perplexity named a specific brand in 84.2% of responses versus 71.4% for ChatGPT, so which engines a tracker covers changes what you'll see (Visionary Marketing).
- Transparent pricing has been B2B software buyers' number one wish-list item for four years running, since TrustRadius started asking in 2023 (TrustRadius, via Yahoo Finance).
What Peec AI Actually Is
Peec AI is a Berlin-based AI visibility tracker with an agency lean, and says it's trusted by 3,000+ brands and agencies (a vendor claim). It tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, and you pick 3 of them on any self-serve tier.
| Tier | Price | Prompts | Models | Projects | Buying path |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $95/mo | 50 | Choose 3 | 1 | Self-serve |
| Pro | $245/mo | 150 | Choose 3 | 2 | Self-serve |
| Advanced | $495/mo | 350 | Choose 3 | 5 | Self-serve; adds multi-country, Looker Studio |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | All, up to 13 LLMs | Unlimited | Sales call; adds API, SSO |
Every tier includes unlimited users and daily tracking, and annual billing takes 15% off. Three details decide what you actually pay:
- A 4th model is an add-on, not an Enterprise upgrade. It's $35, $85 or $165 a month on Starter, Pro or Advanced ($30, $70 or $140 annual). That's also how you get Perplexity, a paid add-on.
- Claude is Enterprise-only on brand plans (Claude Sonnet 4, listed beside Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral and Meta Spark).
- AI Shopping tracking covers ChatGPT only.
Peec AI also publishes agency plans at peec.ai/pricing-agencies: Essential at $245/mo (3 projects, 111 prompts), Growth at $495/mo (10 projects, 277 prompts) and Scale at $795/mo (25 projects, 722 prompts), all monthly, counted at 3 models tracked daily. Team and client users are unlimited, and Claude Sonnet 4 appears from Scale.
Stay or Switch? The Honest Case Each Way
Peec AI has a strong case for staying, and it's mostly about people and cadence, not price.
| Your situation | Verdict |
|---|---|
| A team of 5 or more, comparing per-seat tools | Stay. Unlimited users from $95 beats a per-seat tool once you count heads. Trakkr Growth includes 3 seats and Scrunch's US-served Starter includes 3 licenses |
| You want daily refresh at the entry tier | Stay. Starter includes it. Credit tools such as Rankscale and AthenaHQ spend credits on every run |
| You need Claude on a self-serve plan | Switch. It's a hard ceiling at any self-serve price, a stronger reason than price |
| You'd track 4 or more models | Run the math. Starter plus one add-on is $130, Advanced plus one is $660 |
| You manage 6 or more client brands | Compare agency Growth ($495, 10 projects) against Trakkr Scale and Rankscale Pro, below |
| You want to test the category under $50 | Switch. Otterly Lite, Rankscale Essentials, HubSpot AEO and AthenaHQ's free tier start lower |
Unlimited users isn't unique, to be fair. Otterly includes unlimited team members on every tier, even its $29 Lite, AthenaHQ includes unlimited seats, and Rankscale does from Pro ($99). It's still uncommon among tools that charge per seat.
Two head-to-heads sit underneath the stay-or-switch call. Peec AI vs Otterly vs Rankscale prices the three self-serve trackers at equal engine coverage, including what happens once Claude is on your list. AthenaHQ vs Profound vs Peec AI sets Peec AI against AthenaHQ's free, credit-based tier and Profound's agent instead.
Quick Comparison: Peec AI and 11 Alternatives
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Key strength | Key limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peec AI | Teams and agencies wanting a focused tracker | $95 / $245 / $495 | Unlimited users, daily tracking | 3 chosen models; Claude Enterprise-only |
| Otterly.ai | Budget teams wanting self-serve | $29/mo (Lite) | 4 engines, unlimited team members | Add-on engines cost far more on higher tiers |
| Rankscale | Lowest floor, many engines | $20/mo (Essentials) | 10 dashboards, unlimited seats at $99 | Essentials has zero credits; Claude costs 8x ChatGPT |
| Trakkr | Flat pricing, all models | $100/mo (Growth) | All 8 models, cheapest per answer here | 50 prompts per brand |
| AthenaHQ | Testing real tracking free | Free; $295/mo (Starter) | Unlimited seats, 11+ platforms | About 8 cents per AI response |
| Profound | An AI marketing agent | No base price; free trial | Agentic research, writing, reporting | No self-serve paid tier |
| Scrunch (Sitecore) | Monitoring plus a content layer | $300/mo or $250/mo, by region | 7 engines in the US-served layout | Two layouts are live |
| Goodie | Tracking plus action | $399/mo, billed annually | Closed loop with revenue attribution | Priciest self-serve entry |
| Semrush AI Toolkit (Adobe) | Teams already on Semrush | $99/mo per domain | Sits beside data you use | 25 prompts; its own pages disagree |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar | Teams already on Ahrefs | Free on Lite+; from $50/mo | Covers Claude | Not Grok; region-served price |
| HubSpot AEO | A cheap first look | $50/mo ($45 annual) | Real no-card trial | 3 engines, no AI Overviews |
| Conductor | Enterprise SEO teams adding AEO | Not published | Free AI Visibility Analysis | Every tier routes to sales |
Only Profound and Conductor genuinely publish no base price. Every other tool above, Peec AI included, shows a figure you can budget against.
Cost Per Tracked Prompt at Equal Engine Coverage
Headline price hides what actually differs, which is what each vendor includes. So this table fixes one scenario: daily tracking on ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Gemini, three engines Peec AI lets you pick on any tier. Where a vendor charges extra to reach that set, the extra is in the price.
| Tool and tier | All-in monthly price | Prompts tracked daily | Per prompt | Per AI answer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Otterly Lite | $47 ($29 + 2 add-ons at $9) | 15 | $3.13 | $0.035 |
| Peec AI Starter | $95 | 50 | $1.90 | $0.021 |
| Rankscale Pro | $99 | 53 | $1.86 | $0.021 |
| Trakkr Growth | $100 (all 8 models) | 50 | $2.00 | $0.008 |
| Otterly Standard, its own 4 engines | $189 | 100 | $1.89 | $0.016 |
| Rankscale Pro+ | $229 | 133 | $1.72 | $0.019 |
| Peec AI Pro | $245 | 150 | $1.63 | $0.018 |
| AthenaHQ Starter (monthly) | $295 | 40 | $7.38 | $0.082 |
| Otterly Standard, with add-ons | $307 ($189 + 2 at $59) | 100 | $3.07 | $0.034 |
| Rankscale Growth | $385 | 244 | $1.58 | $0.018 |
| Peec AI Advanced | $495 | 350 | $1.41 | $0.016 |
| Otterly Premium | $787 ($489 + 2 at $149) | 400 | $1.97 | $0.022 |
Prompts are what each allowance funds at 3 engines tracked daily. Rankscale assumes 0.25 credits per answer; AthenaHQ assumes 1 credit per answer.
Four things come out of it.
Per answer, Peec AI and Rankscale cost the same. Peec AI's Starter funds 4,500 monthly answers for $95. Rankscale's Pro funds 4,800 for $99, because ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Mode cost 0.25 credits each. What differs is what surrounds it: Rankscale's $99 includes 10 brand dashboards and unlimited seats, Peec AI's $95 includes 1 project.
Otterly flips depending on your engines. Its four included engines are ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot. Stay within them and Standard is $1.89 a prompt, cheaper than Peec AI's Starter and Pro. Swap in AI Mode and Gemini and the add-ons ($9 each on Lite, $59 on Standard, $149 on Premium) push it to $3.07. The "$9 to $29" add-on range often quoted describes Lite only.
Trakkr is cheapest per answer by a wide margin, because $100 buys all 8 models: $0.008 against Peec AI's $0.021. The catch is 50 prompts per brand. Packs add 50, 100 or 200 for $39, $59 or $99.
Peec AI's 4th model is costly at the bottom and fair at the top. Starter plus one add-on is $130 for 50 prompts, $2.60 each. Advanced plus one is $660 for 350, $1.89 each.
Some tools can't sit on the same footing:
| Tool | What it publishes | Why it isn't comparable |
|---|---|---|
| Goodie Core | $399/mo billed annually ($478.80 monthly), 120 prompts, 5 models | $3.33 or $3.99 a prompt; different model set |
| Scrunch, US-served | Starter $300 ($250 annual), 350 prompts, 7 engines | More engines than the scenario |
| Scrunch, Vietnam-served | Core $250, 125 prompts, 5,000 responses a month | That's 10 runs per prompt per engine, not daily |
| Semrush AI Toolkit | $99, 25 prompts; +50 for $60/mo per its knowledge base | $159 for 75 prompts, $2.12 each; engine set unconfirmed |
Reason Two: The Claude Ceiling
For a reader who needs Claude coverage, Peec AI's tier structure is a wall, not a price. Here's what the same coverage costs elsewhere.
| Tool | Claude on a self-serve plan? | What it costs |
|---|---|---|
| Peec AI | No, Enterprise only | Custom quote |
| Trakkr | Yes, one of 8 models on Growth | $100/mo |
| Rankscale | Yes, any plan with credits | 2 credits an answer, 8x ChatGPT's 0.25. Claude alone on 50 prompts daily uses 3,000 credits a month, against Pro's 1,200 |
| Otterly | Add-on | $29 Lite, $109 Standard, $439 Premium, monthly |
| AthenaHQ | Yes, on Starter | $295/mo |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar | Yes | Free on paid Ahrefs plans from Lite, or from $50 standalone (region-priced) |
| Scrunch | US-served layout lists it; the Vietnam-served layout's 4 engines don't | Check your region |
Reason Three: Projects Versus Brands
Peec AI's brand plans count projects: 1, 2 and 5. Its agency plans are the real answer for a multi-client team, so compare those. Here's a 10-client agency, splitting each plan's prompts evenly.
| Option | Price/mo | Unit | Prompts per client | Models |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peec AI agency Growth | $495 | 10 projects | About 28 | 3 chosen, daily |
| Trakkr Scale | $500 | 10 brands | 50 | All 8, daily |
| Rankscale Pro | $99 | 10 dashboards | About 5 | Credit-weighted |
| Otterly Standard | $189 | Unlimited workspaces | 10 | 4 included |
| Peec AI Advanced (brand plan) | $495 | 5 projects | 70, but only 5 clients | 3 chosen |
Peec AI's credits and Rankscale's 1,200 credits are each one pool shared across all clients.
Trakkr Scale gives each client more prompts and every model at about the price of Peec AI's agency Growth. Rankscale Pro is the cheap route if clients need only a handful of prompts each. Peec AI's edge is the top of its ladder: 25 projects at $795, where Trakkr's next step is Enterprise from $1,000.
1. Otterly.ai: The Cheapest Real Self-Serve Plan, Until You Add Engines
Otterly is transparent: four tiers, published prices, a free trial. Lite is $29/mo for 15 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with daily tracking and unlimited team members. Standard, where most teams land, is $189/mo for 100 prompts plus API, MCP and agent analytics. Premium is $489 for 400. Annual billing saves 15%, and 100 extra prompts cost $99. The catch is the engine list: Claude, Gemini and AI Mode are add-ons whose prices climb with your tier.
| Otterly.ai | |
|---|---|
| Add-ons (monthly) | AI Mode and Gemini $9 / $59 / $149; Claude $29 / $109 / $439 |
| Not ideal for | Teams whose buyers live in Gemini, AI Mode or Claude |
2. Rankscale: The Lowest Floor, With Credits Weighted by Engine
Rankscale has no paid per-engine add-on, but credits are weighted: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Mode cost 0.25 each, DeepSeek 1, Claude 2. So there is an effective per-engine cost. Essentials lists at $20/mo ($17 annual) but ships with zero credits, so real use means topping up. Pro is $99 with 1,200 credits (up to 4,800 answers), 10 brand dashboards and unlimited seats. REST API starts at Pro+ ($229), white-label at Growth ($385). Prices are in USD, not the euros some roundups quote.
| Rankscale | |
|---|---|
| Tiers | Essentials $20 (0 credits); Pro $99; Pro+ $229; Growth $385; Enterprise $780 |
| Not ideal for | Anyone tracking Claude daily, or expecting the entry tier to work without a top-up |
3. Trakkr: Flat Pricing, All Eight Models
Growth is $100/mo for 1 brand, 50 prompts, 3 seats and all 8 models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI), tracked daily, with a 14-day trial. Scale is $500/mo for 10 brands at 50 prompts each, with unlimited seats, REST API and white-label portals. Enterprise starts at $1,000/mo, billed annually. The trade-off is depth per brand: prompt packs run $39 for 50, $59 for 100 and $99 for 200, and extra brands cost $50/mo each according to Trakkr's agencies page.
| Trakkr | |
|---|---|
| Tiers | Growth $100 (1 brand, 3 seats); Scale $500 (10 brands, unlimited seats) |
| Not ideal for | Teams tracking far more than 50 prompts per brand |
4. AthenaHQ: The Most Generous Free Tier
The Essential plan is free, not a trial: $25 of credit, 300 credits, unlimited seats, tracking ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot. Starter is $295/mo on monthly billing (annual saves 17%) for 3,600 credits and 11+ platforms, including Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI, plus Oracle discrepancy detection, which flags when an AI answer misstates your product or pricing.
The credit rate is disclosed: 1 credit equals 1 AI response, so Starter works out to about 8 cents an answer. That funds 40 prompts daily on 3 engines, or far more at weekly cadence. Extra credits are "contact us," so a high-volume daily scenario can't be priced from the page.
| AthenaHQ | |
|---|---|
| Tiers | Essential, free, 300 credits; Starter, $295, 3,600 credits |
| Not ideal for | Daily tracking at volume, where credits run out fast |
5. Profound: Repositioned as an AI Marketer, With No Base Price
Profound built its name on deep prompt-level tracking, but its homepage now leads with "Meet your AI Marketer," an agent that researches, writes and reports. Brands get a free 7-day trial (50 prompts daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews) and a custom Enterprise quote covering up to 9 engines. There's no base price. Its agency view does publish a client workspace at +$399/mo and 5 trial workspaces at +$199/mo. Profound states SOC 2 Type II on its own pages and says it raised a $180M Series D on 15 September 2026, a company statement.
Against Peec AI, that's the real contrast: one shows a ladder, the other needs a call. Our Profound vs Peec AI comparison covers how to buy when there's no number.
6. Scrunch: Monitoring Plus a Machine-Readable Site Layer
Scrunch is now part of Sitecore (announced 3 June 2026), which is connecting its answer-engine data to Sitecore's CMS and marketing tools. Its Agent Experience Platform serves a lightweight, machine-readable version of your site to LLMs without changing what visitors see. The old domain, scrunchai.com, redirects to scrunch.com.
Its pricing page shows two layouts, and we can't tell whether it's region or an A/B test. Served via the US: Starter $300/mo ($250 annual), 350 prompts, 3 seats, 7 engines; Growth $500/mo ($417 annual), 700 prompts, 5 seats. In some regions: one Core plan at $250/mo with 125 prompts, 5,000 responses, 4 engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Copilot), 5 seats and a 7-day trial, plus custom Enterprise. Extra users are $25/mo. Check your own region before you budget.
7. Goodie: Tracking Plus an Agent That Takes Action
Goodie is the priciest self-serve entry here, and the term matters. Core is $399/mo billed annually ($478.80 billed monthly), with a 7-day trial, 120 prompts, 5 models and 5 seats. Pro is $999/mo billed annually ($1,198.80 otherwise), with 250 prompts, 8 models and SKU-level commerce tracking (Pro and Enterprise only), and it needs a demo to buy. The agency track starts at Growth, $275/mo annual ($330 otherwise); Enterprise is custom. Goodie pairs tracking with content, technical fixes and outreach, plus revenue attribution. Third-party coverage calling it fully demo-gated is out of date.
8. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: AI Data Beside Your SEO Dashboard
Semrush is now an Adobe company (the acquisition completed 28 April 2026). If you already pay for Semrush, the toolkit adds AI tracking at $99 per domain with 25 prompts, 1 domain for Brand Performance and 300 reports a day. Its knowledge base sells +50 prompts for $60/mo, so there is a way to grow.
Semrush's own pages disagree on three points, and we've resolved none. The pricing page says billed annually; the knowledge base says "$99 per month." The pricing page advertises a seven-day trial; the knowledge base says there's none. The pricing page says extra users start at $45/mo; the knowledge base says each teammate needs a $99 license. The engine set for tracked prompts is also unconfirmed: the pricing page names ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity, the knowledge base only Google AI Mode and ChatGPT.
9. Ahrefs Brand Radar: Free With Ahrefs, Priced by Region
Custom Prompts are free with every paid Ahrefs plan from Lite up: 5 prompts on Lite, 10 on Standard, 20 on Advanced, 83-plus on Enterprise. Standalone, they start around $50/mo and the AI Visibility Index around $199/mo. It covers Claude but not Grok, and Ahrefs publishes an Enterprise price of $1,499/mo with an annual commitment.
The currency moves with where you are. We were served EUR 47 and EUR 179 on 2 October and GBP 40 and GBP 159 on 5 October; the USD figures are $50 and $199. Check what your region shows.
10. HubSpot AEO: The Cheap First Look
HubSpot AEO is in beta and sells standalone for $50/mo ($45 annual), with no other HubSpot product required. It came from HubSpot's XFunnel acquisition. The free trial tracks 25 prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, no card needed, and it's bundled into Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise. It does not track Google AI Overviews, a real gap if your traffic is mostly Google.
11. Conductor: An SEO Platform With AEO Added
Conductor isn't a native AI visibility tool. It's an SEO platform with AEO reporting layered in, metered in "AI Search Credits," plus Conductor Creator for AI-ready content drafts. None of its three tiers (Essentials, Growth, Enterprise) shows a price, and every path leads to a trial, a demo or sales. It does offer a free AI Visibility Analysis, no account needed.
A Different Purchase Entirely: Paid Citation Placement
Noble and Anchorial sell mentions on third-party pages that AI engines already cite, rather than a dashboard. Neither belongs ranked next to the tools above. See our Noble vs Anchorial comparison rather than treating it as a Peec AI swap.
How to Choose: Decision Framework
| If you need... | Pick... | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Claude on a self-serve plan | Trakkr Growth or AthenaHQ Starter | Both include it at a flat price. Rankscale works, but Claude weighs 8x |
| The cheapest per AI answer | Trakkr | $0.008 across 8 models |
| The lowest entry price | Otterly Lite or Rankscale Essentials | $29 and $20, though Essentials needs credits |
| 5+ users, 3 models enough | Peec AI | Unlimited users from $95 |
| 10 client brands, small budget | Rankscale Pro | $99 for 10 dashboards, one shared credit pool |
| 10 client brands, more depth | Trakkr Scale or Peec AI agency Growth | $500 and $495 |
| AI tracking inside a tool you pay for | Ahrefs Brand Radar or Semrush | Same login, same data |
| Monitoring plus a team that acts | Goodie or Scrunch | Both pair tracking with action |
| An AI marketing agent | Profound | The only tool here built around that job |
| A free test | AthenaHQ Essential or Conductor's checker | Both genuinely free |
Frequently Asked Questions about Peec AI Alternatives
Does Peec AI publish its pricing?
Yes. Starter, Pro and Advanced show $95, $245 and $495 a month on peec.ai/pricing, and only Enterprise is quote-only.
How many AI models does Peec AI track, and what does adding more cost?
Three on every self-serve tier, and you choose which. A 4th model, including Perplexity, is an add-on at $35, $85 or $165 a month on Starter, Pro or Advanced ($30, $70 or $140 on annual billing). Claude is available only on Enterprise.
Which alternatives publish no base price at all?
Only Profound and Conductor. Profound's agency view does publish a $399/mo client workspace and a $199/mo trial-workspace add-on. Goodie and Scrunch both publish prices.
Is Ahrefs Brand Radar priced in dollars, euros or pounds?
It depends on your region. We were served euros on 2 October and pounds on 5 October, while Ahrefs quotes $50 and $199 in dollars. Confirm what your own region shows before budgeting.
Does Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit offer a free trial?
Its own pages disagree. The pricing page advertises a seven-day trial, and its knowledge base says the toolkit has none. Confirm with Semrush, now owned by Adobe, before assuming either.
Are Noble and Anchorial alternatives to Peec AI?
No. They're paid citation placement services, not monitoring software. That's a different purchase, covered in its own comparison.
What to Do Next
Write down your real scenario: prompts, models, how many brands, how many people. Then check it against the per-prompt table instead of the bold number on a pricing page. If the 3-model cap or Claude is why you're here, Trakkr and AthenaHQ Starter include it at a flat price. If you're an agency, run the 10-client table first. And if your team tops 4 or 5 people and nobody needs a 4th model, Peec AI's unlimited users can still be the better deal.
