Late Lunch, Data Crunch, and Clients' Smiles

It’s 12:45 PM in our office.

Lunchtime has everyone spread out, laughing and swapping stories. It’s mostly about trails running these days. With a big race coming up, it’s all anyone can talk about. Running is always a part of Rework’s culture.

But as I walked past Tracy’s desk, she’s in a world of her own. Three screens in front of her, each filled with what looks like a never-ending stream of numbers and charts. There she is again, deep into another puzzle, building solutions for a new client.

This week, I found my inspiration coming not only from the business owners I spoke with but also, and perhaps most significantly, from one of our own team members.

Tracy is not just a teammate to us.

She’s our rock - the one we all turn to when things get tough.

Just last week, I found myself facing one of those tough challenges.

A client had sent over more than 10 Excel files for me to get a sense of their daily operation. Each packed with data on 20-40 projects, all currently tracked manually. Just sheets upon sheets of information.

My first thought? “…Oh, boy".

My second? “Tracyyyyy! Help”

And there she was, did not even flinch. She took over the files, pulled up one of the screens, and we dove in together. As I watched her work, I couldn’t help but feel deeply amazed. She made it look easy, sifting through data like it was a puzzle she was determined to solve. There was no rush, no frustration (which I have to say, accompany me even till this day whenever I deal with a tough case), just that steady focus that she always brings.

We bounced ideas, enjoyed ourselves imagining how less work our client will have to deal with after we present this solution to them. And their smiles.

In those moments, it didn’t feel like work. It felt like collaboration in the Truest sense.

The next day, we presented the solution to our clients. Tracy led the call.

Watching her explain how we could turn such initial complex information into a transparent workflow for our client, I felt a surge of pride. I looked at our clients and their nods of approval and their eyes glued to the screen. Once again, I realized how lucky I am to be in this team, to work side-by-side with amazing teammate like Tracy.

This is what I love about Rework.

It’s more than just the dedication to solving business cases using our applications. It’s about having people like Tracy who are there for each other, no questions asked. We’re not just a team; we’re a family that runs on support, laughter, and a shared drive to help businesses work more efficiently.

Even if that means trading a lunch break for another Excel sheet.

*Important note to self: Buy Tracy another mango tea tomorrow.

If you ever find yourself buried under a mountain of Excel files or tangled in endless group chats, our team is here to help.

We’re more than just a technology provider - we’re your partner, dedicated to making your life easier. Let’s talk about how we can streamline your business, so you can focus on growing, not maintaining.
