Changing the World, One Task ✔️at a time

Every job has its moments when it feels a bit mundane, even when you’re in what you’d consider the most exciting line of work (like I believe I am~). But here’s the magic of my privilege to talk with business leaders everyday: you’ll never know when an extraordinary story will come along, make your eyes widen in awe, and leave you utterly inspired.

R.Fraser is one of those stories for me.

During our conversation, I often noticed myself leaning closer and closer to the screen, completely captivated. Each insight left me more fascinated than the last. His life, his work are a testament to the power of purpose- driven entrepreneurship. His story is about creating meaningful changes, brightening anything he touches - transforming the world around him, inspiring those who work alongside him, uplifting the citizens of his country, and protecting the wildlife he deeply cherishes. Ah, and there’s his global business empire :D

My time in America helped me gain much understanding of the struggle and pressing challenges faced by underserved communities.

But I asked R.F, how come he - a person in power at such a young age, cares so deeply?

His foundation supports the underprivileged communities by providing items that we usually take for granted: shoes for children to go to school, safe boxes for young mothers facing domestic issues and food packages for families in need. His answer is simple yet profound: “I want to give back”.

To me, it’s a reminder of the power of empathy and the impact one person can make when they simply choose to care.

What struck me above all else was R.F’s perspective of his businesses.

To him, they aren’t just profit-generating machines. They are vehicles for positive change. As R.F described to me about his operation, I found myself deeply moved. His workload is staggering, demanding every ounce of his time. With partners in England, China, Dubai, and beyond, he works around the clock, often surviving on just two hours of sleep a day.

(I can relate to R.F. in this one small way. My colleagues and I often joke about working 9-5, but in which time zone, unclarified😆 It’s a global clock we all seem to live by).

What truly amazes me is how, despite immense success and the weight of his commitments, R.F remains grounded. He never loses sight of the values he holds dear.

I promised myself, I will support him to the best of my capability.

The solution I build, even just to help R.F save 1 hour of his time per day- that’s 1 more hour he could get some sleep in (or I suspect to go save a rhino, but his choice). And if I can clear even one unnecessary task from his plate, freeing him to focus on repairing credit ratings for underserved communities, I’ll consider that a win.

I told R.F in our meeting I can’t imagine what it feels like to live his life - constantly working to uplift his people, his communities, and impacting so many lives. But I’ll settle for supporting him in the ways I can. To me, supporting him is a reminder that even in my own way, I can contribute to something greater. I realized by helping others create change, I, too, can be part of something meaningful and transformative.

If there’s one thing I took away from my conversation with R.F, it’s this: Success isn’t truly measured by wealth, but by the impact we have on the lives of others. And in that regard, he is truly extraordinary.

To R.F…

Thank you for sharing your story and for reminding me of the power of purpose.

And to anyone reading this little piece of sharing, I hope R.F's journey sparks as much inspiration in you as it did in me.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about building a business, it’s about building a Legacy.🌟
