Why We Build
Hi, everyone reading this article, my name is Tara, and I am a specialist in helping businesses implement cloud technology into their daily operations. Annually handling hundreds of businesses consulting and simulating their daily tasks on a tech platform, I found that business owners are true geniuses. The ability to handle stress and make important decisions on a high quality with such consistency. I focus on building a solution that fits the company's working culture and employee traits. Every company is unique in its field and complexity of operation. But in my opinion, business owners are wasting their time making good decisions by the time they arrive at the office.
The most common issue that I found:
- Unable to prioritize their decision as there are too many coming.
- Most of the time, surrounded by urgent and not important decisions.
- Does not have the needed time to analyze critical requests.
- Most requests were delivered on paper.
Observing these leaders helped me realize they were born to build a great product or service and generate revenue. Most of the Asian Businessmen that I have met, are more productive being out of the office, finding and converting opportunities. They need help in helping their team work smoothly, in return me and our talented product team brought them not only a product but also a new concept and best practices in management. Last but not least, a companion that is ready to help with new problems during their expansion in head count. Back to making decisions once I saw an interview of Jeff Bezos about making decisions as follows:
“You need to be thinking two or three years in advance, and if you are, then why do I need to make a hundred decisions today? If I make three good decisions a day, that's enough, and they should just be as high quality as I can make them.” - Jeff Bezos
What We Build
A good product in request management should help prioritize important decisions first and help the decision maker delegate the task to others. Only then can they truly focus on crucial decisions and company strategy on elevating their product and service to another level.
One of our big clients was a big corporation (the name is disclosed) having multiple smaller businesses and handling around 1500 employees who have deeply reduced their request handling from paper format to digital format. Decision making time is reduced from days to minutes (in average 15 minutes). Tasks were delegated on time and everyone was proactive handling their tasks. For the CEO he could spend more time in expanding distribution stores and delegating one day a week on signing digitally approved requests on the weekends.
Some Asian countries are quite traditional in request handling on a daily basis. So the best solution was helping decision makers quickly evaluate requests digitally, making decisions or even leaving a comment for more details. We ended up making a separate mobile application for leaders and managers to assist them quickly review and approve requests for their employees.
What we have built?
- Restructuring their request form making them more uniformed in context, so decision making process can truly focus on the important detail.
- Digital environment helps these decisions come to life and eligible for internal support when dealing with cross function issues (decision is recorded with notable comments).
- Educating client employees to get used to the request library and understanding the approval process.
- Helping administrators understand and own the technology when it comes to maintain and amend necessary changes when they need a leaner procedures.
All of the above helped thousands of our clients boost engagement and productivity in a positive way. Also building critical thinking in a data driven world. The ability to own an organized data for further analysis have stepped their game in management.
